Steve Alexander serves as senior vice president of North America Operations at
Satellite Logistics Group. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's domestic operations encompassing transportation and distribution.

Alexander is a member of the strategic and operational planning team, and, therefore, is instrumental in overseeing the exploration of new initiatives, strategic partnerships, and supply chain innovations that will complement Satellite Logistics Group's long-term business goals. He provides leadership and counsel in most client contract negotiations.

Alexander has been instrumental in the development of all SLG’s service departments. He has been with the company for more than a decade and has provided leadership touching all aspects of the company, most recently the Business Development Group. In that role, Alexander was responsible for new business development, client relationship management, product development, sales and marketing. Under his watch, the company developed and launched its branding campaign to position Satellite Logistics Group as an Integrated Logistics Provider. He also served as the Executive sponsor for several award-winning marketing initiatives that supported that branding message.

His previous recruiting experience has proven to be beneficial in hiring key personnel who have contributed to the continued success of the company. He is responsible for establishing objectives for all groups, focusing on customer satisfaction, employee empowerment, process improvement and effective performance management and measurements. As a result of these initiatives, the company's results and service levels have increased exponentially.

Prior to joining Satellite Logistics Group, Alexander served with a Fortune 100 automotive and truck parts manufacturer for 28 years. He spent his last eight years there as the national sales manager, where clients included both automotive and truck parts original equipment manufacturers as well as the replacement parts market.
