Asset Recovery Program

At Satellite Logistics Group, we recognize the challenge of trying to repatriate stray kegs to their rightful owners, and we are tackling this industry issue.

We receive approximately 3,000 stray kegs from distributors each year. We understand how keg replacement costs have escalated recently due to soaring prices for scrap stainless steel. Breweries are seeking ways to minimize the financial exposure caused by lost or stolen kegs. This Asset Recovery Program provides a process for recovered kegs to be returned to the brewery at a small fraction of the cost to replace one.

Our Kegspediter® system offers built-in features to reunite stray kegs with breweries and distributors within the Kegspediter® network. SLG created the Asset Recovery Program for non-participating breweries and distributors.
